1: INITIAL CONSULTATION:
This is the first step in planning the “perfect day”. Upon securing our services we will meet with you and your fiancée to discuss what you want to occur on the day of your event. We begin by letting you tell us exactly what your dreams and wishes are for the reception. Nothing is out of the realm of possibilities and we strive to make your wishes come true. After we get your thoughts and ideas down on paper we begin to discuss how we can make your dreams become reality. We do this by asking you a series of questions that we will need to know in order for us to cater to your needs. Examples:*Time and Location of Reception *Number of guests *Wedding Planner *Dinner or Heavy hors’ durves 2: RECEPTION PLANNER:
This document provides our emcees with a “blueprint” of the order of events or itinerary for the day. We begin with ceremony time and then schedule each event or activity accordingly to the initial consultation and timeline. This tool allows those brides that are not working with a wedding planner to have a visual itinerary to give to the other vendors, (i.e. photographers, caterers, videographers, etc.), who will work in conjunction with us to make your special day flow with ease and assurance.
This tool allows our emcees to begin to work “scripting” your event with your music selections. 3: “ON LOCATION” CONSULTATION:
Through the years of experience in the “wedding business”, we have tackled many obstacles in arriving at a new location and having to deal with room size, electrical usage, parking for set up and tear down, etc. As we continue our one-on-one relationship with our clients, we strongly encourage you to meet us at the reception location. If the site of the emcee’s location has been identified, we can discuss with you where we would place our equipment and decide what lighting, (if any), could be used to enhance the event! This also allows us to determine which sound system we would bring to the event so that the sound can be monitored easily during the reception. 4: SCRIPTED PLAYLISTS:
Once we have had the initial consultation, completed the reception planner and met again at the reception location, our emcees will put together a complete “script” of your day based on all the information discussed and provided. This timeline is a blending of the ceremony time, reception timeline and the music you and your fiancée has personally chosen for your day. Each selected song is timed on the script and is listed for your review. This will provide you and complete “snapshot” of the reception. Our emcees will send you via email, fax or mail a copy of this snapshot prior to your wedding day. This will allow you to make any “last minute” changes on any song selections or activities, (i.e. toasts, garter toss, etc.).
5: CONFIRMATION:
This process allows you to review the scripted playlists and itinerary (planner) so that we obtain complete approval from you and your fiancée on what will occur on your special day. Upon confirmation of the script we will send you the final draft along with a billing statement detailing whatever remaining balances are due and available payment methods. 6: SERVICE DELIVERY:
The final step in making your dreams become a reality!! Each emcee will have background music playing prior to your arrival at the reception location. Set up is completed hours before the contracted time in order to perform sound and lighting checks. Speaker placement is vital to the quality of the acoustics in any venue. Upon arrival, our emcee will greet you and briefly go over any questions or comments you may have prior to the formal introductions and review the timing of activities depending upon your arrival time. After all the formalities and announcements are completed, our emcees will exhibit their entertainment skills and provide you with a flawless production that will truly make your reception…unforgettable! |
